Regulate before you decide.

Six days in the desert to make the move you've been postponing for two years.

For people who can perform but can't decide.

October 25–30, 2026 · Starts in Djerba, Tunisia · By application

You're not behind. You're dysregulated.

You have a good job. The kind people call you about when they want advice. The kind your parents introduce you with. On paper, everything works.

And every Sunday around 10:47 PM, the same sentence shows up: Why am I still here.

You've been having this thought for six months. Maybe two years. AI is rewriting your role while you sleep, and your first instinct is to add another certification. Another course. Another skill. As if the answer is more competence — instead of a body that can actually choose.

You watch someone announce their pivot on LinkedIn — someone less talented than you, someone you trained, someone who hesitated longer than you did — and your chest gets tight. Not because you're jealous. Because you know, deep in a place you don't visit often, that you are capable of doing what they just did. And you're not doing it.

You go to the gym. You eat well. You've built what looks like a healthy life. And you still need stimulation to feel anything - caffeine to start, a glass of wine to land, a screen to fall asleep, a podcast to walk to the corner.

You keep moving forward inside a plan built by fears that aren't even yours. Wearing a personality you constructed at twenty-five to survive a system, and never updated. You can feel the gap between the person making your decisions and the person who would make them differently - and you can't close it.

This isn't only showing up at work. It's in how you listen to your partner with half a face. How you cancel the dinner. How you go quiet at the family table when someone asks how it's going. How your body is still in the meeting after you close the laptop. How desire - for food, for sex, for tomorrow - has gone somewhere you can't reach.

You're not in burnout. You're functional. You hit your numbers. You're the one your team escalates to when something is on fire.

You also know the line. You've said it out loud at least once:

"I'm not burned out enough to stop, but I'm not okay enough to keep going"

This is not a strategy problem. You have plans. You have spreadsheets. You have three different scenarios mapped out for the next eighteen months.

What you don't have is a body that will let you choose one.

More information won't unlock the decision.

Less internal noise will.

The world is moving faster than your nervous system can process. AI is rewriting your role

while you sleep. People you went to school with are pivoting. Your manager is using language

she wasn't using six months ago. The ground is shifting and your body knows it.

Your response to this - the one that has worked your entire career - is to gather more information.

You read more. You research more. You open more tabs. You ask more people. You build more

decision matrices. You consume more podcasts at 1.5x speed on the way to a meeting you don't

want to be in.

It's not working.

Not because the information is bad. Because your body is treating every real move as a threat,

and a body in threat doesn't decide. It defends. It scans. It produces more options to avoid choosing

one. It mistakes the act of researching for the act of moving.

This is physiology, not personality. A nervous system in chronic activation cannot access the

part of the brain that makes clean decisions. The prefrontal cortex - where strategy, discernment,

and long-term thinking live - goes offline before you notice. What's left is the part that scans for

danger and produces noise.

You don't need another framework. You have frameworks. You don't need another coach to tell

you to journal your values. You've journaled. You don't need a fourth opinion from a friend who

left consulting in 2019.

You need your nervous system to come down enough that the decision you already half-know

becomes one you can actually make.

That's what six days in the desert is for.

Regulate. Rewire. Move.

Three movements. One protocol. Same architecture across the six days, the breathwork, and what you take home.

Regulate.

Stop running on threat. Down-regulate

the chronic activation your body has

been holding for years. Sleep returns.

The chest pressure drops. You can

think a thought through to the end

without your nervous system hijacking it halfway.

Rewire.

Free the patterns underneath. The inherited responses, the protections you built before

you knew you were building them, the personality you wear because it kept

you safe. They lose their grip - not by

talking about them, but by letting

the body release them.

Move.

Build the inner compass that lasts. The

capacity to decide from a regulated body,

not a panicked one. Stay. Negotiate. Pivot. Leave. Whichever move is yours, it

becomes one you can actually make -

and one that holds for the next ten

years, not the next ten days.

Why the desert.

Not for the photos. Not for the silence as aesthetic.

One night in Djerba - the airlock between your performance life and the work. Five days in the Tunisian desert - no signal, no notifications, no schedule outside the protocol, no low background hum of being reachable. Your nervous system has been adapting to those variables for years. Removing them doesn't relax you. It forces your body to stop bracing.

What you've been calling stress is mostly chronic vigilance the desert simply does not feed.

The environment is part of the protocol, not the backdrop.

Day1
Decompress
Day 1Djerba

The airlock between your performance life and the desert. Arrival, first meal, opening circle. The first 9D Breathwork journey in the evening. Silence begins after."

Day2
Arrive
Day 2Djerba → Ksar Ghilane

The body discovers space. Sunrise practice. Transfer through southern Tunisia. Camp arrival. First night under the desert sky.

Day3
Regulate
Day 3Desert

The day your nervous system stops bracing. Nervous system education. Solo desert time. The first 9D Breathwork protocol - down-regulation. The chronic activation you've carried for years starts releasing.

Day4
RewirePeak Day
Day 4Desert

The peak day. Four hours alone in the desert with one prompt. The 9D access protocol. What's underneath the personality you've been performing surfaces in the body, not the head.

Day5
Move
Day 5Desert

The Clean Move Lab. You name your scenario - Stay, Negotiate, Pivot, Leave - and walk through the physiological signals, the three critical questions, and the first thirty-day move for your specific decision.Threshold Ceremony.

Day6
Integrate
Day 6Ksar Ghilane → Djerba

The retreat isn't real until you take it home. Closing circle in the desert. Final integration session. You leave with a written nervous system maintenance plan and a clear bridge to the work that comes after.

Daily across all six days: sunrise practice, somatic work, integration time, meals taken slowly, silence held where silence does the work.

What you take home from the desert.

Six days don't change your life.
What you build in those six days does.

You leave with

01

A regulated baseline.

Not a calm weekend. A new floor - measurable in your sleep, your breathing, the speed at which your chest tightens when a Slack notification lands.

02

Your scenario named.

Stay. Negotiate. Pivot. Leave. By Day 5 you know which one is yours, and you know it from your body - not a values exercise.

03

A thirty-day first move drafted.

Specific. Time-bound. Sized so your nervous system can actually execute it on the Tuesday after you land.

04

The Clean Move Playbook.

A written guide to all four scenarios, with the physiological signals, the three critical questions, and the failure patterns to watch for in each. Yours. For the next decade of decisions, not just this one.

05

A thirty-day post-retreat integration plan.

What you practice. When. Why. Built so the desert doesn't fade by week three.

06

A nervous system that recognizes itself in regulation.

The most important deliverable. Once your body knows what regulated feels like, it can find its way back. That's not a skill. It's a memory.

The most important deliverable. Once your body knows what regulated feels like, it can find its way back. That's not a skill. It's a memory.

Not therapy. Not coaching. Not a wellness retreat.

Not a luxury trip to the desert.

You've already tried the obvious things.

That's why you're here.

  • Therapy gave you understanding. You can articulate your patterns. You know where they came from. You have language for your father, your first manager, the year you stopped sleeping. None of it has moved you.

  • Career coaching gave you a plan. A clean CV. A LinkedIn refresh. Three industries to consider. The plan sits in a Notion doc you haven't opened in four months.

  • Wellness retreats gave you a weekend. You came back regulated for six days. Then your inbox swallowed it.

  • Breathwork classes gave you a session. A high. A cry, maybe. Then a Tuesday that looked like every other Tuesday.

  • A luxury trip to the desert gave you photos. A driver. A glass of champagne under the stars. Beautiful. Curated. You came home rested. You did not come home different.

This is none of those things.

This is six days designed to do what none of them did: change the baseline your body operates from.

Built by someone who spent a decade inside the corporate machine you're trying to decide about - and left, cleanly, using the same protocol you're about to walk through.

The mechanism is physiological, not philosophical. The structure is engineering, not improvisation. The container is premium and intimate - ten to fourteen people, four facilitators, one protocol, no cohort theatrics.

You will not be asked to share your trauma in a circle. You will not be told to manifest. You will not leave with a vision board.

You will leave with a regulated nervous system, a named decision, and a body that knows the way back.

I left engineering to stop performing a version of success that wasn't mine.

Marwa

I built a life that looked right and didn't feel stable inside.

A decade in engineering - internships, then the full track. Good salary. Good title. Good apartment in the right city. The version of success my family could be proud of, my CV could trade on, and my body could not sustain.

I left - not to escape, but to stop performing a version of myself that wasn't mine.

I didn't leave because I burned out. I didn't leave to take a year off and travel - though I did travel, extensively, before and after, across continents and cultures and the kind of beautiful places people post when they're trying to convince themselves they're free. I didn't leave because of a breakthrough or a calling or a moment of clarity on a beach in Bali.

I left because I finally understood something the trips and the therapy and the books hadn't taught me: the reason I couldn't choose differently wasn't strategic. It was physiological. My nervous system had been in threat for so long it didn't recognize anything else. Changing the country didn't change the baseline. Only the body could do that.

EGO BURN - Desert is the protocol I wish I'd had. Built for the people I used to be: ambitious, intelligent, functional on the outside, dysregulated underneath, stuck inside a decision their nervous system couldn't make.

I'm not here to push you out of your job. I'm here to give your body the safety to choose cleanly.

A decade in engineering · 200+ people guided through 9D Breathwork protocols · 3 immersive experiences across Paris, Amsterdam, and Tunisia

What people say after the work.

These are not Desert cohort 1 testimonials - that cohort hasn't run yet. These are reflections from past 9D protocols and from the Rebirth retreat. The mechanism is the same. The container is what we built next.

"

Wow, I'm speechless. I didn't expect this honestly. It's a rebirth. The strongest experience I've ever done. I just wanna thank you Marwa for choosing this theme. Exactly what I needed. This work resumes years of healing and therapy.

"

I can't fully express my feelings right now, but it was an unexpected experience. A lot of mixed feelings. I love this practice. Thank you Marwa for this space - I would love to do it again.

The pattern across both: people who came in skeptical, articulate, used to controlling their environment - and left with something they didn't have language for yet. That's what 9D does at the physiological level. The desert protocol is what happens when you give that work six days instead of ninety minutes.

Flights to and from Djerba, travel insurance, personal expenses outside the retreat. We'll send guidance on all three after your spot is confirmed.

This is for you if. This isn't for you if.

This is for you if

You are intelligent, articulate, and high-functioning - and a part of you suspects that's the exact reason you've stayed stuck this long.

You travel. You train. You eat well. You've built what looks like a healthy life. And you still need stimulation to feel anything real.

You know, in a place you don't visit often, that you are capable of more than the life you're currently running. And you cannot find the door to it.

You've been carrying the same decision for six months to two years. You've made spreadsheets. You've asked four people. The decision is still not made - and it's no longer about the decision.

You're tired of being the person who explains, justifies, and performs I'm fine - and you're done pretending the cost of staying is lower than the cost of moving.

This isn't for you if

You're looking for a luxury trip to the desert with a wellness flavor on top.

You want someone to tell you what to do about your career.

You're in active crisis or recent acute trauma - this is depth work, not crisis intervention. A different container is more appropriate first.

You're not willing to fly to Tunisia, sleep in a tent, and be off your phone for four days.

You think six days will fix what twenty years built - and won't do the integration work that comes after.

What we've put in place.

This is the desert. Remote. Beautiful. Demanding. Before you trust us with six days, you should know what's holding the container.

  • Medical screening before your spot is confirmed - every applicant completes a confidential health intake; contraindications discussed directly before booking.

  • Full facilitator liability insurance covering breathwork in international and remote settings.

  • Four-person team on site - Marwa, a co-facilitator, an operations lead, a photographer-videographer.

  • Doctor on call, nearest English-speaking hospital identified, camp emergency vehicle on site.

  • Satellite communications maintained throughout - cell coverage in deep desert is unreliable; ours is not.

Travel insurance is your responsibility. We recommend a policy covering international medical evacuation.

Guidance on providers sent once your spot is confirmed.

01What is 9D Breathwork — and why this and not regular breathwork?

9D is a structured physiological protocol that combines a specific breath pattern with a 9-layer immersive audio composition delivered through headphones. The breath does the physiological work — shifting the nervous system into the state required for the day's outcome. The audio carries the deeper architecture: subconscious reprogramming, NLP layers, somatic guidance, and embedded suggestion designed to rewire the patterns underneath the decisions you keep failing to make. It is not meditative breathing. It is not Wim Hof activation. It is targeted physiological intervention that works on the body and the subconscious mind simultaneously. Each 9D protocol on the retreat is engineered for a specific point in the arc — what your nervous system needs that day, no more, no less.

02How is breathing going to help me make a career decision?

Your decision isn't blocked by missing information. It's blocked because your nervous system treats every real move as a threat — and a body in threat doesn't decide, it scans. Breath is the most direct lever for changing that physiological state. Not as wellness. As physiology. Once the body comes down, the decision you already half-know becomes one you can actually make.

03I'm too rational for this. Is this still for me?

The rational, structured, analytical profile is precisely the profile this protocol is built for. Marwa spent a decade in engineering. The mechanism is physiological, the structure is engineering, the language is direct. If you're skeptical, that's a feature — not a problem. The work doesn't ask you to believe. It asks you to breathe.

04I've already done therapy and coaching. What's actually different?

Therapy gave you understanding. Coaching gave you a plan. Neither addressed the actual bottleneck: a body that treats real change as danger. The retreat works on the body first. The strategy then lands — because the system can hold it.

05What if I open something I can't handle?

The protocol is sequenced for exactly this concern. Day 3 is regulation before depth — your nervous system builds capacity before it accesses anything. The team is four people on site. The pace adjusts to you, not the other way around. You will not face an emotional opening alone.

06What if I get clarity and realize I have to leave my job — I'm not ready for that.

The retreat isn't designed to push you out. It's designed to give you the four scenarios — Stay, Negotiate, Pivot, Leave — and the inner clarity to know which one is yours. Some applicants regulate and choose to stay consciously. That's a clean move too.

07What if I'm not in a real crisis — is my problem serious enough?

This work is built for exactly the zone you're describing. Not the crash. The gray zone before it. Functional on the outside, dysregulated underneath. You don't have to wait for your body to force the decision.

08Why six days? Why a desert?

Six days because the arc requires it — decompress, arrive, regulate, rewire, move, integrate. Five days is too short to complete the work. Seven days starts to dilute it. The desert because the environment does work language can't: it removes stimulation, slows the nervous system, and makes the body recognize space again. The protocol is engineered around both.

09What's the typical attendee like?

Mid-thirties to early fifties. Senior corporate, tech, consulting, founders. English-speaking, often international or semi-nomadic. Stuck inside a decision delayed six to twenty-four months. Functional on the outside, paying for it internally. The cohort is built deliberately — applicants are filtered for fit, not for credentials.

10The tent is simple — no private bathroom, no five-star hotel. Why?

The desert camp is intentionally simple. Five-star isolates you from the environment that does part of the work. The tents are private, comfortable, and well-equipped — clean bedding, proper insulation, secure storage. The bathroom facilities are shared and well-maintained. If five-star is non-negotiable for you, this isn't your container.

11What if I have a medical condition or take medication?

Every applicant completes a confidential medical intake before booking is confirmed. 9D Breathwork has specific contraindications — cardiovascular conditions, severe asthma, seizure history, recent surgery, pregnancy, glaucoma, active psychiatric conditions, certain medications. If something flags, we have a direct conversation. Sometimes the answer is yes with adjustments. Sometimes the answer is not now. Either way, you'll know before you pay.

12What if I pay and nothing actually changes?

You have seven days from your deposit to feel the work and pull out — full refund, no questions asked. After that, your spot is held. The honest answer underneath: the people who don't change are usually the people who didn't actually do the work. The protocol delivers if you engage with it. That's the agreement.

13How do I actually get there, and what's covered once I land?

You fly into Djerba-Zarzis airport (DJE). From the moment you land, transfers are arranged — Djerba hotel on Day 1, 4×4 to the desert camp on Day 2, return to Djerba on Day 6. Detailed travel guidance is sent after your spot is confirmed: recommended flight routes, arrival timing, what to pack, what to expect at each stage.

14What's the language of the retreat?

English. Marwa speaks French and Arabic as well, but the cohort runs in English. Confidence in conversational English is expected.

15What if I'm afraid of what I'll discover?

That fear is exactly the threshold the work is designed to meet. Most applicants feel it. The protocol is sequenced to ensure depth happens with capacity, not against it. You will not be pushed past what your nervous system can hold. And you will not be left to integrate alone — the post-retreat plan is part of the offer.
